Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, says Black Stars are not taking the upcoming friendly games against Japan and South Korea lightly.
As part of the team's build-up to the 2026 World Cup, Ghana will face Japan in a Kirin Cup on Friday, November 14, at the Toyota Stadium, with kick-off scheduled at 10:20 am, before taking on South Korea on Tuesday, November 18, in Seoul.
Despite key players being left out of the squad for the games, Asante Twum, the team will approach the games with dedication and determination.
“The games against Japan and South Korea will be tough, and we’re not taking them lightly at all," he told Sporty FM.
"We want to see players who are hungry and will fight for the Black Stars," he added.
All invited players for the games are currently in camp and will hold their final training today ahead of the game on Friday.
