Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has reiterated that his team’s objective for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season is to clinch the title.
The Porcupine Warriors have enjoyed a good start to the ongoing campaign, winning three matches and drawing the other two.
With 11 points secured and three outstanding matches to play, Asante Kotoko are 11th in the league standings.
Speaking ahead of his team’s Super Clash against Hearts of Oak this weekend, Karim Zito stressed that his team will play to secure victory.
According to him, the objective of the team has not changed, and the ambition is to win the league at the end of the campaign.
“I have told the fans that our main objective is to win the league. Our objective is to go and beat Hearts of Oak. That’s all,” Karim Zito said.
This weekend's Super Clash is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm on Sunday, November 9, at Accra Sports Stadium.
A win for either side will be key in advancing their aspiration to clinch the Premier League title at the end of the campaign.
