Head coach of Asante Kotoko Abdul Karim Zito has expressed satisfaction following stalemate against Vision FC in an outstanding Ghana Premier League clash on Wednesday.
The match, held at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net.
Speaking after the match, the former Dreams FC tactician was left to rue missed chances in the highly competitive clash, while expressing satisfaction with the draw.
"We were very wasteful in front of goal. We created some chances and should have scored at all cost but we were not focused. I’m content picking a point at away” he said after the match
Asante Kotoko currently find themselves in 7th position, accumulating 15 points after seven matches, while Vision GC sit 10th spot with 12 points after nine matches into the campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors takes on Aduana FC in a high-stake matchday 10 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday. With two outstanding games in hand, the Ghanaian giants remain on course for their Premier League title ambition.
