The head coach of Aduana Stars, Aristica Cioaba, has noted that he has been impressed with the focus of his players in training this week ahead of their Week 5 encounter against Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, October 13.
Speaking in his pre-match interview, the Romanian tactician said he is convinced his players are ready to fight for a win to earn all three points from the derby.
“I’m very happy with what I’m seeing from the players [in training] in the past three days. They are listening, they are not talking too much, they are serious in training, and I’m very confident about Sunday’s game.
“Every time people talk about the game, they mention that it’s a derby. Last year I was here and I won 1-0. From what I see from my players this week, their concentration and everything, there is the possibility that we can win the game,” Aristica Cioaba told Aduana Stars TV.
The derby between Aduana Stars and Bechem United is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Sunday at Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Aduana Stars are aiming to bounce back to winning ways after a narrow defeat to Samartex in their last outing.
Bechem United, on the other hand, have set their sights on what will be their first win of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
