Striker Albert Amoah grabbed a hat-trick to power Accra Great Olympics to a 4-2 win over visiting Aduana Stars in their match day 23 Ghana Premier League game played at the Accra Sports Stadium, yesterday.
The young budding striker broke loose in the 19th minute, taking on Aduana Stars left-back Anderson Asamoah before delivering a cross for Isaac Mensah to tap home the opener.
Eight minutes later, Amoah got his opening goal and added his second on the 34th-minute before
Aduana pulled one back through ZakariaMumuni.
Back from the break, Amoah made it four for the ‘Dade’ Boys in the 72nd minutes before substitute YussifAlhassanChibsah reduced the deficit for Aduana to 4-2.
Meanwhile, FC Samartex extended their lead in the Ghana Premier League to five points after a 2-1 win over Accra Hearts of Oak at Nana Nsenkyire Park at Sameraboi on Saturday.
FC Samartex opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through winger Evans OseiWusu who headed home from a goal mouth melee to send the home crowd into frenzy.
Hearts levelled through Hamza Issah’s rebound in the 77th minute but Evans OseiWusu popped up again to secure the victory with an astonishing finish in the 87th minute.
