Aduana FC head coach Aristica Cioaba has expressed his belief that his team deserved all three points in their goalless draw with Medeama SC on Saturday.
The Week 9 Ghana Premier League encounter at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park saw both sides battle for dominance but fail to find the back of the net.
Speaking after the match, Cioaba said his team created more scoring opportunities and should have walked away with a win.
“The game ended 0-0, but I think if you look at the game, Aduana had more opportunities to score. Medeama may have had one chance or two chances in the 90 minutes. But it’s good football, what I saw, the two teams tried to play football and attack.
“It was possible to win the game, but it ended in a draw. Our performance was good, so let’s continue working hard to improve,” Aristica Cioaba said in his post-match interview.
The result leaves Aduana FC temporarily at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings, pending results from Sunday’s matches.
Medeama SC similarly remain second in the league log.
