Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Guinean attacker Morifing Donzo in a move to strengthen their squad for the upcoming football season.
The club lifted the MTN FA Cup last season but narrowly missed out on the Ghana Premier League title.
Determined to recapture the league title during the 2025/26 campaign, the Kumasi-based club is strategically recruiting top-quality players in the off-season.
Today, the club has announced the acquisition of Morifing Donzo on a three-year contract.
“Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of Guinean forward Morifing Donzo on a three-year deal, following the successful completion of his medical. The deal is subject to the approval of his work permit,” a club statement from the Reds said.
Donzo, 27, has signed for Asante Kotoko from Hafia FC and brings with him experience at the highest level of African football, having featured in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.
He will be playing alongside top attackers Kwame Poku and Albert Amoah at Kotoko next season.
