'I want to score a lot of goals in the Champions League' â?? Mohammed Fuseini sets bold target for new season
Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini has set ambitious targets ahead of the 2025/26 season, as he prepares to lead the line for Belgian champions Union Saint-Gilloise in the UEFA Champions League.The 23-year-old, who joined Union SG from Austrian side Sturm Graz, is eager to make an impact in Europe's premier club competition after his first taste of continental football during the playoffs with Sturm in 2023.Following a successful domestic campaign, Fuseini will now have the opportunity to play in the group stage for the first time.Speaking to Joy Sports, the striker outlined his goals for the upcoming campaign.For me, I just hope we start the season really well because last season we didnt start well, he said. I want to be the top scorer of the league, score a lot of goals in the league and the Champions League.Fuseini added that he is aiming to score 1015 goals in the first half of the season and build from there in the second half.The Black Stars striker finished last season with 11 goals and three assists while operating in a two-striker system.With Champions League football now on the horizon, Fuseini is determined to carry his form onto the European stage.
