Christopher Bonsu Baah joins Al Qadsiah teammates in the Netherlands for pre-season
Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has joined his new Al Qadsiah teammates in the Netherlands for pre-season preparations ahead of the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League campaign.The 20-year-old was welcomed by staff and players on Wednesday, as shown in images shared by the club on social media, marking his first appearance in the squad since completing his move from Belgian side KRC Genk.His contract signing and formal introduction took place earlier this week in the Netherlands.Bonsu Baah signed a four-year deal with Al Qadsiah in a transfer worth over 16 million, keeping him at the club until 2029.Despite committing to the Saudi side long-term, sources suggest a return to European football remains a possibility in the future, given his age and development potential.Bonsu Baah made his breakthrough at Sarpsborg in Norway after joining from Ghanaian third-tier side Shooting Stars in 2023.Just 12 matches into his stint in Norway, Genk secured his services ahead of several European clubs.At Genk, Bonsu Baah made 90 appearances over two seasons, recording five goals and seven assists. He also earned his first senior Black Stars caps in recent friendlies against Nigeria and Trinidad and Tobago.
