Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars head to Accra for preseason training
Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Goldstars will embark on a preseason training in Accra ahead of the 2025/26 football campaign, the club has announced.The Miners resumed training on Tuesday and are expected to travel to Accra in the coming days for the continuation of their preparation for next season.Goldstars will play a series of friendly matches while in the Greater Accra Region to determine the teams readiness for the upcoming campaign before returning to their base for the commencement of the new season.Following their Ghana Premier League success, the Bibiani-based club has booked a slot in Africa and are expected to represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League.Domestically, Goldstars will battle to defend their Premier League title and also compete in the Ghana FA Cup competitions.Meanwhile, the commencement of the 2025/26 campaign has been scheduled to kickstart in September 2025.The Miners are keen on strengthening their squad for the new season in an attempt to make a meaningful impact next season, and has already captured goalkeeper, Kwadwo Osei Bonsu, Emmanuel Kojo Addy, Emmanuel Ankrah, Emmanuel Agyei, and Emmanuel Fosu Kyei.
