Asante Kotoko agree deal to sign Lord Hilary Adabo from FC Samartex

Asante Kotoko have reached an agreement with FC Samartex for the transfer of defensive midfielder Lord Hilary Adabo ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.The two clubs have settled on a transfer fee of GH200,000, with personal terms between the player and Kotoko expected to be finalised by Thursday.Once concluded, the midfielder will sign a long-term contract with the Kumasi-based giants.Adabo, known for his strength, ball recovery and composure under pressure, was one of the standout performers for Samartex last season.His performances have attracted attention across the league, but Kotoko have now moved swiftly to secure his services.The deal marks another key step in Asante Kotokos squad strengthening process as they aim to return to title-winning form in the new campaign.
