The H4P Organisation has organised a free health screening for staff, teachers and students of the Akropong School for the Blind.
The “Celebration of Love” free health screening included general consultation, testing for malaria, dental and eye exams, ear cleanings, and hearing evaluations.
Additionally, people in need of medication received free prescriptions from the government.
The health screening program is one of the initiatives the organization has planned to support children with special needs, their caregivers, and the personnel of special schools.
On September 13, a free health screening was held for the special needs students and caregivers of the Tetteh-Ocloo State School for the Deaf in the Greater Accra Region.
This event marked the beginning of Celebration of Love.
The second episode, which took place on November 8, 2023, at The With God Cerebral Palsy Centre – Centre of Abilities, Winneba, included a free physiotherapy session, information, and a hearing evaluation.
On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, the H4P Organization, directed by Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, extended its reach to the Akropong School for the Blind in the Eastern Region in preparation for the third chapter.
A group of ophthalmologists, dentists, and audiologists from the University of Education, Winneba’s Center for Hearing and Speech Services led the health screening.
Students who were grateful to the H4P Organization for the exercise were those who had not sought medical assistance for their ailments owing to financial difficulties and setbacks related to their disabilities.
The school clinic received a donation in the traditional H4P style that included clothes, cleaning supplies, bed linens, and medication, among other items.
Additionally, gifts were given to the school’s personnel, instructors, headmistress, among others.
Over a decade, the H4P (Here for Perfection) Organization has fulfilled its mission of granting dignity to people with disabilities.
The H4P Organization, which works to develop ability in spite of impairment, has greatly benefited individuals with disabilities and stakeholders in the disability community through a variety of life-transforming programs and activities.
Giving brings greater blessings than receiving, as Bishop Dr. Charles Cofie Hackman, the organization’s founder, has demonstrated.
‘Celebration Of Love’ was held to commemorate the first anniversary of the passing of the Late Mrs. Christina Anansiwa Hackman, mother of the CEO of the Here For Perfection (H4P) Organisation.
