A seismic shift in ministry is taking shape as Financial Evangelism Ministries prepares to host the ‘Pastors in Business Summit’ in Accra on November 29, 2025.
The summit seeks to build business acumen in the clergy to be able to build businesses while shepherding their congregations. The summit aims to change the image of a pastor focused solely on spiritual matters.
The organisers’ noted that gone are the days when a pastor’s career was a novelty, maintaining that success in the pulpit does not automatically translate to success in the marketplace. Recognising this, Financial Evangelism Ministries is hosting the summit to provide pastors with the essential tools, strategies and community needed to navigate their dual roles.
“The era of pastors maintaining separate professional careers has evolved from novelty to necessity. Yet celebrating these dedicated servant-leaders isn’t enough—we must equip them for excellence in both spheres. Each domain requires distinct skills, strategies and mindsets,” stated the organisers.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Tomreik Hotel in East Legon at 4:30 PM, the summit will feature a powerful lineup of pastors who are also proven business leaders.
The speaker roster includes heavyweights like Rev. Samuel Sakyi-Hyde, CEO of AP Private Equity Fund; Rev. Dr. Hanna Atiase, CEO of E-Wells & Consultancy Ltd.; and Prophet Moses Bennisan, CEO of Echelon Properties. They will share first-hand insights on balancing divine calling with corporate strategy.
The event is not exclusively for clergy. It welcomes all Christians and business-minded individuals, with a special call to professionals in banking, real estate, technology, manufacturing, media and other key sectors. The goal is to build a robust network that bridges the sacred and the secular.
Attendees can expect benefits, including strategies for effective church administration, biblical financial management and ways to help congregants achieve economic independence. The summit will also address specific challenges pastors face in business and present viable business ideas tailored to their unique position.
The ‘Pastors in Business Summit’ is produced by Financial Evangelism Ministries, a para-church organisation dedicated to empowering believers in the marketplace. The event will be hosted by Nelson Semanu Boandoh-Korkor, known as The Financial Evangelist, and his wife, Elizabeth Boandoh-Korkor.
The summit positions itself as an essential gathering for those determined to lead with faith, wisdom and entrepreneurial excellence. For registration, sponsorship opportunities or general enquiries, please contact: 0549762233 / 0536797883 or via e-mail: [email protected]
