Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has praised midfielder Hubert Gyau for working hard to improve his game.
The youngster has started the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season strongly. He was the star of the show last weekend when Asante Kotoko secured a 4-2 victory against Karela United.
In that game, Gyau bagged a sensational brace in the first half to inspire the Porcupine Warriors to all three points.
Speaking on the midfielder’s performance in that game, Karim Zito, indicated that it was not surprising because he knows the player is improving day after day.
“He is improving, gradually improving. I wasn’t surprised when he scored two goals against Karela United. It made me very happy,” the Kotoko coach told AKSC Media in a pre-match interview ahead of the match against Hearts of Oak.
The Super Clash against the Phobians will be played on Sunday, November 9. The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm at Accra Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko will need players like Hubert Gyau to step up to stand any chance of bagging the three points at the end of the contest.
