Aduana FC produced a spirited comeback to secure a 2-1 victory over Bechem United in their Ghana Premier League matchday five encounter at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa Ahenkro on Sunday afternoon.
The Ogya Boys were made to work hard for the win after falling behind midway through the first half.
Bechem, still chasing their first win of the season, stunned the home fans in the 27th minute when Darlvin Yeboah finished neatly to give the Hunters a surprise lead against the run of play.
Aduana, however, responded with resilience and determination. Their pressure finally paid off just before the break as captain Alex Boakye rose highest to head home from a corner, restoring parity in the 41st minute.
The second half saw Aduana dominate possession and pile pressure on the visitors, who were forced to defend deep.
Their persistence was eventually rewarded in the dying moments when in-form forward Emmanuel Marfo struck in the 88th minute - his third goal of the season - to seal a dramatic comeback victory.
The win extends Aduana’s perfect home record this season to three victories from three matches, reaffirming their strength at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Bechem's winless run continues, leaving them still searching for their first triumph of the 2025/26 campaign.
