Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko was full of praise for his players after their determined second-half performance sealed a dramatic 2-1 win over Dreams FC at the TnA Stadium in Tarkwa on Friday evening.
The Mauves and Yellows moved to the top of the Ghana Premier League table after a late own goal in the 92nd minute handed them all three points. Abdul Salam had opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a fine finish before Dreams FC equalized through Christian Owusu just before halftime.
Reflecting on the game, Tanko said, "No I think like I said in the first half definitely they did very well because we are too open in the middle and I would not talk bad against those who play but I think it's a game practice,"
"It's about game practice for those who play today. But I think in the second half they came back very strongly. We dominated all the second half and then and scored the winning goal and I'm very happy," he added.
