The Ghana Football Association’s Player Status Committee (PSC) has imposed a 12-month ban on Supreme Babies FC and Mosbees Soccer Agency FC from all football-related activities.
The sanction, which took effect immediately, is set to expire on October 6, 2026.
The decision, in accordance with Article 21.1 of the GFA Disciplinary Code (2019), follows the fraudulent registration of player Anthony Aboagye. The regulation states that “Anyone who, in football-related activities, forges a document, falsifies an authentic document or uses a forged or falsified document will be sanctioned with a fine and a ban of at least six months or for a specified period of no less than 12 months.”
Aboagye complained to the PSC after discovering that Mosbees Soccer Agency FC had unlawfully registered him without his knowledge and with falsified details. He explained that he joined JMG Academy in 2016 and later moved to the academy’s Mali branch that same year. Upon returning to Ghana in 2024 to join Rumark FC, it was revealed that Mosbees Soccer Agency FC had registered him under false information.
During the PSC hearing, Mosbees Soccer Agency FC admitted to falsifying the player’s registration and pleaded for leniency. Investigations also uncovered that the owner of Mosbees Soccer Agency FC, Mr Paul Kingsford Abeokuta Ephraim, is also the owner of Supreme Babies FC, which had previously registered the player.
The PSC found no wrongdoing on the part of Aboagye and ordered that all fraudulent records of his registration be deleted. The committee further ruled that the player is free to register for any club of his choice using his correct details.
