Ghana head coach Otto Addo has indicated that his team is heading into the clash against Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a positive feeling.
According to him, securing a win against Mali in the last outing has given his side a lot of confidence.
He wants the Black Stars to remain focused and give their best to earn another victory against Central African Republic in the next match.
“Everything is in our hands, but I hope that we learnt the lesson from the last away game against Chad. It is important that we stay focused and concentrated and not think we have already won because that is a danger.
“We were very happy with the result against Mali and we are taking this positive feeling into the Central African Republic game,” Otto Addo said.
The clash between Central African Republic and Ghana will be played in Morocco on Wednesday, October 8.
The Black Stars, currently top of Group I, could book their place at next year’s World Cup if they beat Central African Republic tomorrow and results from the other games go their way.
After the game, the Black Stars will return to Ghana for a final game in the qualifiers against Comoros.
