Ghana forward Brandon Thomas-Asante has been named in the English Championship Team of the Week following his brace heroics for Coventry City against Sheffield Wednesday, a performance which has earned him a place in the Black Stars squad for the World Cup qualifiers.
Thomas-Asante scored twice in the space of 30 minutes to lead Frank Lampard's men to a convincing 5-0 victory at Hillsborough.
The 25-year-old was unplayable, breaking the deadlock after just three minutes with a cheeky finish from close range. He doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute after going past two players before firing past Sheffield's goalkeeper.
The former West Bromwich Albion striker is joined in the Team of the Week by teammates Hajj Wright, Matt Grimes and Bobby Thomas.
Also in the squad are Hull City trio Ivor Pandur, Oliver McBurnie and David Akintola alongside Jeremy Ngakia of Watford.
Blackburn Rovers defender Sean McCloughin, Queen Park Rangers' Jimmy Dunne and Zak Sturge complete the Team of the Week.
