No excuses against Bibaini GoldStars - Karim Zito cautions Asante Kotoko players

Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito has cautioned his players ahead of their clash against Bibiani GoldStars on Wednesday. 

The Porcupine Warriors will host the defending Ghana Premier League champions in an outstanding league fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Having dropped two points against Heart of Lions in the Matchday 4 games over the weekend, Zito, speaking ahead of the game, expressed his disappointment after failing to beat Lions despite plans to make their home grounds a fortress.

However, he stressed that he and his players have no excuses but to go all out and beat GoldStars.

'Our plan was to make sure any team that comes to the Baba Yara Stadium go home without a point," Zito told the club's media.

"Asante Kotoko drawing against Heart of Lions means there will be no excuse on Wednesday, we have to beat Bibiani Goldstars," he added.

Kick off for the game is scheduled at 19:00 GMT.
