Danish-Ghanaian midfielder Noah Nartey scored a stunning goal to inspire Brøndby IF to a 2-0 win over Fredericia in the Danish Superligaen on Sunday evening.
Playing the full 90 minutes at Monjasa Park, Nartey was one of Brøndby’s brightest performers. He broke the deadlock in the 81st minute with a well-placed left-footed strike from outside the box, finding the bottom corner after being teed up by Daniel Wass. His goal lifted the energy in the Brøndby camp, who had dominated much of the match but struggled to convert earlier chances.
The 20-year-old also created six chances, more than any player on the pitch, earning applause from the traveling supporters. Substitute Michael Gregoritsch sealed the victory in stoppage time, calmly slotting home from close range after good work by Nicolai Vallys.
The win extends Brøndby’s impressive run as they stay firmly in contention near the top of the table. Nartey now has two goals and one assist in eleven league appearances this season. Brøndby will next face AGF on October 19.
