Richmond Opoku scored his fourth goal of the season to snatch victory for Young Apostles at the Swedru Sports Stadium against Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon.
The second half substitute broke the deadlock with three minutes remains as Young Apostles pile the pressure on the newcomers, who are still without a win.
The visitors got off to a bright start after Eleven Wonders goalkeeper J Baah was called to action early in the match, making a jaw-dropping save to deny Young Apostles the opener.
Moments later, Eleven Wonders responded with Afarupoe coming close.
Both sides became cautious as they tried to avoid mistakes at the back till half time.
After the break, Young Apostles rang in some changes, replacing Dhaud Thuair with Opoku.
The decision proved a masterstroke as the substitute stole a late winner for the visitors in Swedru.
