Asante Kotoko defender Henry Ansu has assured supporters of victory in their upcoming Week 4 encounter against Heart of Lions in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to host the Kpando-based outfit this weekend in a highly anticipated contest that will be staged at Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Kotoko head into the game without a win against Heart of Lions in their last four meetings.
Speaking to AKSC Media in a pre-match interview, Henry Ansu admitted that the upcoming encounter will be difficult, but stressed that players are determined to end the winless run against the opponent.
“I think if you look at Heart of Lions, we have not been able to beat them in the last four matches. It will be a difficult match, but we assure our fans that we are working to ensure we secure the victory against them on Sunday,” Henry Ansu said.
The Week 4 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Heart of Lions will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday, October 5.
Lions, currently top of the league table, are also keen on amassing all three points to maintain their top spot.
