
Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has tipped the club to succeed in the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Phobians enjoyed a fairly good campaign during the 2024/25 Ghanaian football season. Despite missing out on a trophy, the team’s top-four finish in the Ghana Premier League was an improvement from the previous campaign, where the team almost suffered relegation.
Dan Quaye was in attendance when Hearts of Oak inflicted a 2-0 victory over Heart of Lions to annex the 2025 Homowo Cup on Sunday.
However, the former Ghana defender, who was impressed with the team’s performance has backed the club to finish in the top four.
“I see a lot of positives in the team going into the new season. I’m confident Hearts of Oak will finish among the top four in the league next season”
After the improvement, Hearts of Oak are now aiming to win the Ghana Premier League in the 2025/26 season under the new coach.
The 2025/26 Ghana Premier League will kick off on the weekend of September 12. The club will takes on debutant Hohoe United in the Premier League opener.
