Mavis Amegah brings over 13 years of extensive experience in tax compliance, corporate law, and strategic regulatory advisory, making her a formidable addition to the Regulus Group’s senior management team.
Her proven track record of success in the financial services sector and her deep expertise will be invaluable as the company continues to scale across Africa and beyond.
Before joining Regulus, Ms. Amegah served as the Tax & Compliance Manager at Olam Agri Ghana Ltd., where she was instrumental in optimizing business tax strategies, spearheading comprehensive tax compliance initiatives, and ensuring rigorous regulatory adherence. Her background also includes leading the implementation of tax policy and overseeing financial reporting and audit processes.
In her new pivotal role, Ms. Amegah will not only lead Regulus Investments and Financial Services Ghana Limited into a new phase of strategic growth and execution, but she will also play a critical role in fortifying the Regulus Group’s global legal, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Her unparalleled expertise in tax law, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, coupled with her strong leadership and integrity, makes her the ideal candidate to drive the Ghana operations forward and strengthen legal foundations across the Group.
Ms. Amegah holds an LLM in Tax Law from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Central University College, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ghana Technology University.
She also holds an Executive Certificate in Comparative Tax Policy & Negotiation Strategies at Harvard Kennedy School, further solidifying her comprehensive understanding of complex financial and legal landscapes.
