Celebrated gospel artiste Patience Nyarko has disclosed that she didn’t get anything from composing a song for the Black Stars.
The singer composed a song titled “Seyiaa” for the Ghana national team in 2014 ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil that year.
Although Patience Nyarko’s Black Stars song was one of the most trending at the time, she has disclosed that she recorded and funded the music video all by herself without getting a dime.

I didn't get anything. I funded everything. I shot the video, production, and everything and also did the promotion,” she said on Angel FM.
This time I'm not into it like in the past. For someone to go to the studio and record a song to support the Black Stars, it tells you that I really was into it. But this time, it's not like that.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars have been enduring a poor run of form in recent times, having failed to win any of their matches in the October international break.
Chris Hughton’s side suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Mexico first before again being battered 4-0 by the USA.

The Ghana coach, however, believes he’s still the right man to turn things around despite his side’s struggles.
“If you ask me if I feel like I’m the right person for this job, the answer is yes,” he said at the
post-match press conference after the loss to the USA.
