Transfer Deadline Day is finally upon us – it might not quite the same day of business football fans are used to in this new era of football, but there are still some big deals that could be completed.
Liverpool’s Kabak deal edges closer
Liverpool are now very close to an agreement with Schalke over centre-back Ozan Kabak. The loan deal will cost the Reds around £2million.
Schalke have a deal and contract provisionally in place with Shkodran Mustafi, who is negotiating his departure from Arsenal. Schalke have other options if a move for Mustafi is not concluded.
The Reds are also yet to officially announce the signing of Preston’s Ben Davies but what can Liverpool expect from the defender?

Odion Ighalo
Al-Shabab agree deal to sign Ighalo
A year ago today we were shocked by United’s loan signing of Odion Ighalo – now the forward looks set to move to Saudi Arabia after his deal at Old Trafford ended. His parent club have given the Middle East club permission to thrash out terms with the Nigerian.
The Nigerian striker has been linked with moves to Dubai, the Premier League and the MLS but a move to the Middle East is now close to being completed after the two sides agreed to a move.

Ahmed Musa
Free agent Musa will have West Brom medical
Former Leicester City forward Ahmed Musa will arrive in the country tomorrow morning ahead of agreeing a deal with West Brom.
Musa is a free agent and, as Sportsmail revealed earlier this month, he has been invited in by Sam Allardyce to bolster Albion’s attacking options.
The 28-year-old was due to arrive last week but there was a mix up over his arrangements to travel from Nigeria and he is now due to arrive in the early hours on Tuesday.

Dele Alli
Dele Alli set to STAY at Tottenham
The midfielder’s hopes of sealing a loan move to PSG look doubtful after the club rejected yet another offer from PSG, and he faces another tough six months on the sidelines in north London. Alli’s exit would leave Spurs short in midfield, but the 24-year-old has not started in the league since the opening day of the season.
Dele Alli looks to be frustrated in his hopes of securing a move to the French capital, with reports claiming Tottenham have turned down yet another approach from PSG. Alli and Mourinho are said to be keen on finalising the move, but Daniel Levy is holding it up.

Diego Costa
Man City not considering Costa
Manchester City have no interest in signing Diego Costa as a short-term measure up front.
There have been question marks about Sergio Aguero’s fitness and Gabriel Jesus’ reliability but Pep Guardiola is not pursuing a deal for Costa, who is looking for a club having agreed a termination of his deal with Atletico Madrid.

Roy Hodgson
Hodgson expects Benteke and Van Aanholt to stay
Roy Hodgson expects Patrick Van Aanholt and Christian Benteke to remain at Selhurst Park for the rest of the season.
Hodgson’s is eager for the pair to follow Vicente Guaita’s lead after he committed his future to Crystal Palace on Monday.

Mitchel Bergkamp
Watford sign Denis Bergkamp’s son
The Hornets have snapped up the son of Arsenal legend Denis Bergkamp, with Mitchel agreeing a six-month deal at Vicarage Road. The midfielder, who was on trial with the Gunners last year, will have the chance to extend his move should he impress for the U23s.
The 22-year-old had spent a week training at Arsenal’s London Colney base with Steve Bould and his Under 23s side in November last year, but he was let go following the trial.
