Agyemang Badu warns Asante Kotoko of more chaos if club house system is not scrapped
Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has warned Asante Kotoko that the club risks facing more disciplinary crises in the future if it fails to dismantle its long-running club house system.The former Black Stars midfielder believes the current setupwhere players live communallyencourages misconduct and must be reviewed urgently.His comments come on the back of damning allegations from ex-Kotoko captain Justice Blay, who claimed on radio that some teammates engaged in alcoholism, shisha use, and improper relationships while living together in the clubs residential facility.Blay, who was recently released by the club, said these issues were rife within the shared compound, further igniting debate over player discipline at Kotoko.Speaking to Luv FM, Agyemang Badu, who has played for clubs in Italy and China, said allowing players to live independently could help restore order.Ive been a professional footballer before. If its not camping a huge club like Asante Kotoko, if financially strong, should disperse the players and let them get their own houses so that there can be peace, he said.He added that failure to act could result in long-term reputational damage.
