2019 AFCON: Hearts' Mo Alhassan, Kotoko's Safiu likely to be dropped - Reports

Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah could drop Asante Kotoko forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu and Hearts of Oak defender Mohammed Alhasan from his final 23 squad for the African Cup of Nations.

Footballmadeinghana.com can confirm the two local players will not be in the plane when the team fly to Egypt for the showpiece.

Both of them played a part in the preparatory game against Namibia which Ghana lost 1-0.

But are likely to be dropped when the final 23-man squad is announced

Fatau Safiu had most minutes between the two playing 45th minutes, Whilst Mohammed Alhasan also featured at a point in the second half.
