Kofi Kingston Is A Full Ghanaian - Dr Sarkodie-Mensah

Dr Elizabeth Sarkodie-Mensah,mother of World Wrestling Entertainment(WWE) sensation,Kofi Kingston, insists there should be no room for doubts as to the true nationality of her son when he arrives in Ghana for a four-day visit this week.

The affable mother of the WWE Champion insists her son’s truest nationality lies in Ghana and not Jamaica,insisting, “my son is fully Ghanaian,his father is from Ejisu and I also come from Atwima-Techiman in Ghana here”.

In a bid to further bury any remaining uncertainties about her sons ethnicity, Dr Sarkodie-Mensah laughed off suggestions that her son’s use of the name “Kofi Kingston” in the WWE ring meant he had roots in Jamaica.

Kingston is just a ring name he uses, but the fact that he uses the name in the ring does not mean he is a Jamaican” she insisted. She added that her son was born in Ghana at the Tech Hospital in Kumasi.
