Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum, says the Accra Sports Stadium remains the only approved venue for the Black Stars.
The Baba Yara Stadium, where the team played its home games, suffered CAF and FIFA sanctions after it was described as unfit to host games.
However, speaking to 3Sports, Asante Twum said the Black Stars will play their 2026 World Cup qualifiers games in September and October in Accra.
“At the moment, the only approved venue for Black Stars matches is the Accra Sports Stadium. That will host Black Stars games in September and October,” he stated.
Ghana will host Mali and Comoros as they aim to return to the Mundial for the fifth time.
The Black Stars' first game at the Accra Sports Stadium in recent years was against Chad in Matchday five of the qualifiers in March earlier this year, where the team recorded an emphatic win.
After six matches, Ghana currently sits at the summit of Group I with 15 points, three points ahead of second-place Comoros.
