Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has challenged his Vision FC players to build on their newfound belief after securing a crucial 1-0 away win against title-chasing Aduana FC.
The result, the club's first on the road this season, marks a significant shift in their campaign.
The victory in Dormaa is the standout shock of the recent match week, allowing Vision FC to close the first half of their season by climbing to 11th place in the Ghana Premier League and putting vital distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
Speaking after the match, Agyemang emphasised that the win must become a standard, not just an anomaly. "We’ve always asked them to believe in themselves. This is the youngest team in the Ghana Premier League, so what we needed was belief," he stated.
He believes the result provides the perfect evidence to drive his message home. "So I think that this [win] will sell our message very well for them to realize that⦠they should be able to fight not only to win home games but be able to go away and also get the results."
While celebrating the "amazing" feeling of the first away win, Agyemang's focus is clearly on the future, urging his young squad to channel this breakthrough into consistent fighting spirit for the challenges ahead in the second half of the season.
