Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito has stressed the need to improve finishing after his side’s 1-1 draw against Aduana FC over the weekend.
The Porcupine Warriors were held on matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League, marking a second consecutive game without a win since their 1-0 victory over Hearts of Oak.
Aduana struck first, taking an early lead before Kotoko equalised through Lord Amoah, keeping the game level despite dominating possession.
He added that despite creating several opportunities, the team failed to convert.
“We had a lot of possession and created many chances, but we couldn’t score. We need to work on our finishing.”
The result leaves Kotoko sixth on the league table, five points behind joint leaders Medeama and Heart of Lions, highlighting the need for sharper attacking efficiency.
Kotoko will next face Young Apostles in their outstanding league fixture, with Zito hoping to address finishing issues and return to winning ways.
