Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has expressed disappointment over his side’s failure to score despite dominating their Week 9 Ghana Premier League clash against Aduana FC.
The match, played at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park on Saturday, ended in a goalless draw, leaving both sides to share the points.
Speaking after the game, Tanko praised his team’s overall performance and control throughout the encounter but lamented their inability to convert their chances, especially a last-minute free-kick.
“I think we did very well. My team dominated from the first minute to the last, and it’s very unfortunate that the last free kick didn’t go in. But I’m very satisfied with the performance of my team today,” the Medeama SC coach said in his post-match interview.
The experienced coach was quick to add that earning a crucial point from the tough game was not bad.
“Coming to Aduana and taking a point is very, very good for us,” Tanko said.
Following the stalemate between the two teams, Aduana FC remain top of the league table, with Medeama SC trailing closely in second.
The situation may change depending on the outcome of Sunday’s fixtures.
