Tottenham Hotspur manager Thomas Frank has expressed his excitement after Mohammed Kudus scored his first goal for the club.
The Ghana international joined Spurs in the summer from West Ham United in a deal worth £55m.
However, at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, Kudus scored his first goal as Spurs ended Leeds United's unbeaten home run with a 2-1 win.
"It was about time, wasn't it? We've got big expectations," said manager Thomas Frank after the game.
"I'm so happy for Mo - he needed that goal. He's been our best offensive player so far. You just see, he looked a little bit more fluid."
Kudus' through ball teed up Mathys Tel to score his first goal of the season before the midfielder struck into the bottom corner to restore Spurs' advantage after Noah Okafor had equalised for the hosts.
The 24-year-old has been so far been involved in four goals. Kudus now turn his attention to national duty as he is expected to feature in Ghana's final round of games against Central African Republic and Comoros in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers slated for this month.
