Karela United head coach Nurudeen Amadu says his side is fully prepared to take on any opponent in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Tamale-based club have collected four points from their opening two fixtures, earning a hard-fought draw against FC Samartex after edging Aduana FC on the opening day.
They now turn their attention to Medeama SC, whom they host at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday at 15:00 GMT.
Speaking ahead of the clash, Amadu admitted the pedigree of the league’s traditional giants but insisted his team would not be overawed.
“Clubs like Medeama SC, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will surely present us with a lot of problems because of their experience and quality," he told Graphic Sports.
"But we are not going to underestimate or over-respect anyone. We will prepare to play every team with the same seriousness,” he stressed.
Karela narrowly avoided relegation last season, but Amadu believes their bright start is a sign the club is ready to compete with the very best this term.
