
Head coach of Nations FC, Kasim Ocansey Mingle has set sights on securing victory in a crunch Ghana Premier League clash against Samartex 1996.
The Abrankese-based club will play host to the former Premier League champions in matchday three at the Dr Kwame Sports Complex on Sunday.
Nations FC head into the game on the back of a narrow defeat against Aduana FC, while Samartex aim to break their winless run this season.
Speaking ahead of the game, the former Bechem United tactician insists his outfit are bent on securing the maximum points against Samartex.
“We exhibited a good performance against Aduana FC but we lost. As we return home to face Samartex, we definitely have to work hard and take the three maximum points at stake in the match” he told the club’s media.
“It is not going to be easy for us but we are going to work for it. Samartex have not won any game this season and will approach this game as wounded lions. We have to double our effort to make sure we get all points in the game”
Nations FC are currently sixth on the league standings with three points, while Samartex occupies 11th position with two points following a back-to-back draws.
