
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have stepped up preparations for the first leg of their tie against Nigerian outfit Kwara United in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors on Thursday, September 18, had an intensified training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, with head coach Karim Zito working on the game plan with his players.
The experienced coach is aware that the upcoming clash will be tough, but is confident his team has what it takes to secure victory.

The first leg meeting between Asante Kotoko and Kwara United in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup will be played on Sunday, September 21.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko need to fight for a big win to make the trip to Nigeria for the reverse fixture easier.
