
Ghanaian defender Samuel Sarfo scored late to salvage a point for Malkiya Club on his debut for the club in the Bahranian league.
The former Liberty Professionals player netted with 20 minutes remaining as Malkiya shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Al Hidd.
The visitors, Malkiya Club, opened the scoring halfway into the first half after another debutant Mohamed Al Falah struck from the edge of the box.
The hosts responded just before the break from the spot through Isa Hasan.
Ah Hidd then took the lead for the first time in the game after Mauritanian forward Bekaye Wade fired home in the 62nd minute.
Sarfo, affectionately known as Maldini, then responded eight minutes later after smashing the ball from close range.
The Ghanaian international joined Malkiya in July from Saudi Arabian club Najran SC.
He has spent most of his career in the gulf. featuring for Saipa FC, Al Khaleej and Al Tadamon SC.
