The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has opened up about his target for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Accra Lions tactician, in a pre-match interview ahead of the opening weekend of the season, stated that he wants his team to be successful.
Tanko believes his Yellow and Mauve outfit has prepared very well for the new season and is hoping for the best throughout the campaign.
“It’s a very good feeling that the league is coming back after a long break. I’m sure that all the teams have prepared very well, and I hope for a better season,” Ibrahim Tanko told Medi TV.
In the opening weekend of the new Ghana Premier League season, Medeama SC will face off with Young Apostles.
That encounter is scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 14, and will kick off at 3 pm at Nana Agyeman Badu Park.
Ibrahim Tanko is eyeing a win to start the new campaign on a positive note.
