Hearts of Oak's goalkeepers' coach, Issah Najahu, has declared the team is in prime condition and "very much ready" for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, which kicks off this Friday.
The Phobians will begin their campaign at home against debutants Hohoe United at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Najahu's confidence stems from a successful pre-season under new head coach Didi Dramani, which culminated in winning two trophies: the Homowo Cup and, most recently, the Democracy Cup against rivals Great Olympics.
"Once the league starts next week, I think we are very ready for the season," Najahu stated. He emphasized the importance of their preparation, highlighting the high-profile nature of their pre-season matches.
"Top Four is a high-profile game, and before the league will kick start, you need to play at least high-profile games. We have done that."
This strong foundation has built momentum and fostered belief within the squad as they aim to improve on their top-four finish from last season.
