
Ghana international Brandon Thomas-Asante was in blistering form for Coventry City in their Championship clash against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
The Black Stars attacker started and played full throttle of the match as his outfit cruised to a resounding 7-1 victory over their opponent in a thrilling clash, held at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Thomas-Asante played a pivotal role by scoring and registering two assists, contributing to his outfit emphatic victory over QPR.
The Ghanaian attacker was just unplayable in the match as he delivered a Man-of-Match performance to inspire the side to secure a massive home win.
USA international Haji Wright shot Coventry into the lead after just 12 minutes into match before Thomas-Asante doubled the advantage for the host in the 23rd-minute.
In the 35th-minute mark, Jack Rudoni scored to extend the lead for Coventry before Haji Wright found the net again to make it 4-0 for the home team following an assist from the Ghanaian forward.
Before the half hour mark, Thomas-Asante set up Jack Rudoni to score his second goal of the match as the host went to the break with a 5-0 lead.
Coventry City continued their dominance in the second half, scoring two additional goals to sntach an impressive victory on home turf.
After the halftime break, Denmark international Victor Torp fired a brace to cement victory for Coventry, with Richard Kone pulling one back in stoppage time.
