
Ghanaian female football star, Rashida Ibrahim has joined Cyprus champions Apollon Ladies in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins Apollon Ladies after ending her stay with UAE side Abu Dhabi SC.
Ibrahim, who played for Berry Ladies in Ghana, arrives with enormous experience following a successful spell in Asia.
"We’re delighted to welcome Ghanaian midfielder Rashida Ibrahim to Apollon Ladies! Rashida brings winning experience, having played for Abu Dhabi Country Club and earned multiple honours in the UAE Women’s League and AFC Women’s Champions League. She is a two-time UAE league champion, and was also crowned MVP three times in the Ghana Women’s League," wrote Apollon announcing her arrival.
The former Ghana youth international shared her ambition after sealing the move.
"I’m very happy to join a big club like Apollon Ladies and I’m here to support the team in winning more trophies. Thank you!” she said.
Ibrahim could make her debut in the Women's UEFA Champions League game against YB Frauen later this month.
