Ghanaian striker Carl Davordzie has made a bright start to the 2025/26 Romania Liga II season, netting in each of CSM Ceahlaul’s opening two matches.
The 25-year-old struck again last Saturday in a 1-1 draw against Tunari, adding to his match-winning goal in the season opener against Politehnica. Both goals showcased his trademark composure, beating two defenders before finishing past the goalkeeper â a scenario in which he consistently excels.
Davordzie, who scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 29 appearances last season, has set himself a target of 15 goals this campaign. He believes his form can help CSM Ceahlaul push for promotion to the Romania Superliga.
Barring injuries, the former Parma forward looks on course to be one of the division’s standout strikers.
