Spanish club Athletic Club have announced that Nico Williams has signed his new contract extension deal. In an official statement on Tuesday, July 15, the club said, Nico Williams signs his strong bond with AthleticThe charismatic winger signs a deal at San Mams until 2035 with the aim of continuing to make history with the club of my life.The club statement added, Nico Williams aims to continue making history with Athletic Club, with whom he signed his strong contract today at San Mams, extending his contract until June 30, 2035, the longest-lasting agreement for the first team.The new deal adds eight years to his previous contract, which was signed this afternoon alongside the president, Jon Uriarte, the general director of football, Mikel Gonzlez, and his brother and captain, Iaki Williams.The mother of Nico Williams, Mara Arthuer joined him on the occasion to wrap up the new deal.Nico Williams has committed his future to Athletic Club despite strong interest from FC Barcelona.He looks set to continue in the footsteps of his big brother Inaki Williams, who has spent all his career at Athletic Club, rising through the ranks to become club captain.
