Mohammed Kudus to undergo Tottenham medical on Thursday ahead of £55m move
Mohammed Kudus is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday as he edges closer to joining Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham United in a deal worth around 55 million.The Ghana international has agreed to personal terms with Spurs and will sign a six-year contract once the medical is completed. Kudus has been keen on the move, with Tottenham emerging as his preferred destination if he were to leave West Ham.Spurs had an initial 50 million bid turned down but returned with an improved offer that was accepted. Kudus current contract with West Ham, which runs until 2028, contains a release clause active only during the first 10 days of July, set at 80 million for clubs outside England, 85 million for Premier League sides, and 120 million for teams from Saudi Arabia.The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Ajax in 2023 for 41.5 million. He scored eight goals and provided nine assists in his first season across all competitions. Last season, he played 35 league matches, registering five goals and four assists.
