Black Satellites intensify preparations ahead of WAFU Zone B U20 Championship

Ghana's U20 team, the Black Satellites have intensified their preparations ahead of the upcoming WAFU Zone B U20 Championship.The tournament which will be held in Ghana begins on July 10 and will end on July 23, 2025.The players assembled at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence to prepare ahead of the commence of the regional tournament.The players went through a series of drills before doing ball work later during the training session.Coach Desmond Offei will lead the team for the last time at a competition as he fully moves to the national team as assistant coach.The Ghana U20 team have been handed a tough draw, where they have been placed in Group A alongside arch rivals Nigeria and Benin.Meanwhile, Ivory Coast will face Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo in Group A.Ghana reached the final of the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship last year, losing to Nigeria in the final.
