Vet Multiplex Test Kit wins 2025 Hollard Streetwise Finance Business Challenge

 Hollard Ghana organised its fifth Hollard Streetwise- Finance Business Challenge on Friday at the University of Ghana (Legon) to assist young and brilliant entrepreneurs with funding to support their businesses.

The initiative is part of its corporate social responsibility.

The challenge saw ten intelligent student entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to the competition’s judges to determine who wins the penultimate prize of forty thousand Ghana cedis to support their business growth.

“Vet Multiplex Test Kit” came up tops after the judges made their final decision.

This test kit will give women the opportunity to test for vaginal infections in the comfort of their homes without visiting the hospital.

This will go a long way to eradicate vaginal infections in women, because when these infections are detected early, treatment becomes easy and its side effects to the Ghanaian woman will be reduced tremendously.

These infections cause abdominal pains and bareness in women.

But with the help of ‘’Vet Multiplex Test Kit” designed by these brilliant students, vaginal infections will be outdated to the Ghanaian Woman, because of early detection and treatment.

‘’Kriblink’’ the team that won the second runner up position had an amazing idea to solve student accommodation problems in the university of Ghana. Kriblink is an application that connects property owners to prospective students on campus, and this application has aided many students to find accommodation easily.

Property owners upload videos and pictures of their properties on the application (Kirblink), where we have numerous students scrolling through to select their preferred rooms. This has helped many students on campus save time and money looking for accommodation on campus.

Head of I.T information systems at Hollard Insurance, Mr Wahab Adams who was also a judge for the “Hollard Streetwise Finance  Business Challenge” congratulated all winners and encouraged those who did not win never to give up but rather expand their ideas and commercialise in future.
