Bechem United coach Desmond-Issah Botchway was left fuming on Sunday afternoon after his team suffered a 2-1 defeat to Aduana FC in the Ghana Premier League.
On the matchday, the struggling Hunters led by a goal to nil at halftime but conceded twice after the break, missing out on all three points.
Speaking in a post-match interview, Desmond-Issah Botchway lamented the manner in which his team conceded the goals to Aduana FC, arguing that a lack of concentration from his players let the team down.
“Aduana Stars are a good side, but we were on top of the game. It was a lack of concentration that robbed our boys to concede these cheap goals. Honestly speaking, I’m not a happy person at all because of these cheap goals that are conceded, I don’t know. I’m a little bit disappointed,” the Bechem United coach told journalists.
With no wins in their first five matches, Bechem United are 15th in the Ghana Premier League table.
The Hunters will now prepare for their Week 6 encounter against Vision Football Club with the hope of earning their first three points of the campaign.
