Semper Fi head coach Moses Adjin-Tettey expressed his disappointment after his side were held to a goalless draw by Nania FC at the Teshie McDan Sports Complex on Saturday, despite a dominant display.
“Clearly, we dominated from the word go but couldn’t take our chances,” Adjin-Tettey said. “The opponent was defensive, but we managed to find spaces; we just couldn’t convert, and that is something we have to work on. The strikers' failure to score is about precision. We have good players, quality players, but today I’m disappointed.”
The Semper Fi boss, whose side remains unbeaten, admitted the draw felt like two points dropped but believes his team will bounce back in their next outing.
“Our next game at Tuba is not going to be easy; it’s a wide pitch. We just have to be more precise, and we can win the game,” he added.
Semper Fi will face Golden Kick in their next home fixture as they seek their first win at the McDan Complex this season.
